My Sprint bill arrived the other day with a BIG surprise... a $1,046.47 charge in calls I DIDN'T make, so I call customer services and they accused me of making those calls; didn't even gave me the benefit of the doubt even though I've been a customer for more than 5 years, even though this is the first time something like this happens to me...
so after talking to 5 different CS people who didn't help me at all, I told the lady to terminate my contract and that is when someone try to help me, the last guy I talk to told me that an investigation was going to be open and if they found out that someone clone my phone I dind't have to pay anything, by then I was on the verge of crying. So a few days pass by and I recived an email that I have added a new line to my contract (wich I didn't) so I call Sprint again, this time the fraud department, but before I spoke to a person a machine lets me know that the bill was already paid, so I said this to the lady on the other end and she told me that it was probably part of the fraud and she was going to send the information to the person investigating the case and then tells me that no one has added a line to my contrat.
So today I received a call from them telling me that there wasn't any fraud, that I made the calls, and that my brother made the payment, they even gave me the last 4 digits of the accout from where the payment was made, that account it's not my brothers but apparently this person already pay the bill. I am sooooooo angry right now with this company that I want to sue them, I'm changing companies ASAP so can someone point to one where I wont face this kind of treatment?

Poor customer’s service.
Deceptive marketing and business practices.
Early Termination Fees with no grace period.

I have been with Sprint for over 11 years, and they offered a discount of 10% if I had an AOL email address. I asked the Rep. if this would extend my contract, and he said no. So I get the email and it says 2 year renewal and a few lines below it says "contract extension: no". So I believed the Rep. when he stated that it would not extend my contract. They put in special notes all the time.

So, a couple days later after speaking with Sprint at least three times and seeing that they could not even match what Verizon was offering me as a new customer, I decided to leave them.

Now they are not honoring what their Rep had offered - "No contract extension". I have tried to speak with their customer support team and have been bounced around from supervisor to supervisor for days. Not one of them has the ability to do anything.

So, if they treat a customer that has been with them for 11 years, just imagine how helpful they will be with a new customer.

Stay far away....

Purchased the Sprint mobile hotspot in August 2010. 4G service is limited in the areas I travel to frequently (Austin, TX, Pasadena,CA, Denver, CO). Device would also lock up frequently when shutting down. The only waya to turn it off would be to remove the battery. Now in April 2011, after 9 months of use, it lost its ability to get an IP address and thus could not connect to the internet. The device was never dropped, it powered up and connected to the cellular network. I took several calls to Sprint customer service and long wait times on hold before they directed me to a local Sprint store where I had the most frustrating customer service experience of my life. They literally laughed at me that I didn't purchase "insurance" and said that the unit would require replacement. I chose to terminate my contract instead. I'll never do business with Sprint again.

ALL cell phone companies make trillions from us every year why give them anymore!! Now people do you ever wonder why the CB radio never took off?? Nextel / Sprint has direct connect similar to CB. Direct connect harness connection to one single phone right?? So its possible and therefore we should not pay for cell phone service its crazy. Think about similar providers that are charging us for practically the same service: cable 150 to 200 / month, phone 40 to 60/month, Internet 40 to 80/ month, cell phone 80 to 200/ month. Enough is enough let’s join together and make a company with all in one for less than 100 a month period!!

WOW I am not sure how other cell phone provider are but i can assume they are all about taking your money. With Sprint they are all about money instead of trying to make a plan work for you. instead of forcing you to have a data plan with a smart phone or just text. there are a lot of other things to do with a smart phone than down load games music and surf the net. Sprint allow us to make our own choices or we will take our business somewhere else!!

My $1500 mistake. In February I switched from AT&T and our iphones. We were sick of all the extra charges and sky high bill associated with AT&T in general. I searched out all the different services here in Oklahoma and in the end Sprint was the most impressive (i thought). We went into the store and asked the rep to suggest the best Android phone on the market.. we are told the Epic 4g is everything we want and more. We were told "it comes with 4g and it will be a hotspot for your laptops when you need it".
After about 3 weeks I started trying to call Sprint. I cannot stress enough how inadequate they are. Even tho my 30 days wasn't up every single rep reminded me that i would have to pay a $200 disconnect fee per line($400). Which would mean that I paid $800 for phones. A $297 first bill. And now, that I am upset that we are NOT in a 4g area, I am in roaming 80% of the time in the middle of Oklahoma City, the Hot Spot cost's an additional $30 a line (tho no one told me that until I tried to use it), I can't send or receive msg's a lot of the time in roaming nor do my calls come in.

So basically, go to Verizon. Don't make the same mistakes I have. I am stuck now, or i have to pay them a total of over $1500 to cancel in less than a month and a week after srv start. (they sure did make sure to keep me waiting for stupid fixes till after my 30 days.) they are vultures. STAY AWAY.

Sprint is okay, until you have to deal with their customer service. I tried to add an employee discount to my account, and got the runaround FIVE times. I spoke with three people on the phone, and emailed with two people. I have received conflicting information everywhere. I am STILL waiting for an answer. One person said I had to renew my contract to add the discount, another said I didn't. One person said I do qualify for the discount, and another person said I did not. They said they would email the other person on my account, to have them confirm the change- and we never received that email. Apparently they need to train their personnel.
