    I have att but after many years and tons of dropped calls and bad connects and runaway costs i am going to either verizon, tmob or sprint. IMHO Verizon-best network, nice phones, pricey pkgs. Sprint-4g network, evo is hot!, best price pkgs. Tmob – ok network and prices, weak phones (T mobile = the cell phone company time forgot?) And tha winnahhh is Sprint!

    I signed up for an AT&T plan Talk7 69.99 month. I ended up putting 151.48 for down payment and accessories on July 01. I recieved a bill a few weeks later for Billing Cycle July 01 thru July 02 for amount 190.69. I called AT&T customer service and this was for 1 day of Service in July which I was charged 1 month and the next month in advance. I decided to exercise my right to cancel contract in first 30 days. I took phones and accessories back to AT&T store on July 16 and was charged restocking fee for phones. I received a credit for -16.00. I called AT&T to submit a gripe to a AT&T manager and the service attendant did not escalate my request. However AT&T informed me that I would be getting a final bill. I asked how can I get a final Bill on an account I just closed. I even got a -16.00 refund.. No explanation AT&T could give can satisfy my mind. These guys seem like thieves and robbers. If you are a poor working person like me you may want to avoid these guys as you may not be able to afford the AT&T Invoices which you will not be able to interpret. Invoice was beyond my ability to interpret and more than I could afford.

    i will never in my life use At&t ever…they were my first cell company back in the 90′s and i had a very bad experience. i had a beeper at the time and the sales person talked me into gettin a phone. i passed credit check and got the phone no down payment. i started using the phone and was never told about seperate long distance charges. i racked up a $700 first bill and they turned the service off. i called to see why phone was not working, still not knowing of $700 bill, and they explained it. i romptly did a check by phone which needed to clear as per cust serv rep. when check cleared i still had no service. i called back and they said it was because i need to put a down payment now. so after paying $700 before i even got a bill, they did this. and then had the nerve to send me a $100 bill the next month lol

    I have tmobile and I hate them. The customer service is the worse. To me, the rate are high, sprint will offer internet for two phones for $39.99 but Tmobile it is $25 for one. I have family plan with two lines, unlimited weekends, unlimited texting and insurance for my G1 + internet service and it is $170. Mind you the family plan for 2 started out at $89.99 for all the unlimited mins. With unlimited texting for the other line insurance internet it went up to $170. I really hate this company I have been with them since for ever. I was with them when they were Aerial, which switch to Voicestream then Tmobile. Now that’s a long time. I am looking into Sprint.

    I have had all of them at one time or another and I find that Sprint is the best . When ever i ran into any type of problem sprint tecnical support was always very helpful in helping me work things out . I am on the all data family plan with 4 others and that works out great . I have had Sprint for about 9 years now and i can not imagine changeing . I am hoping to get the Evo in Nov .

    I am have had all cell phone providers and all pre-paid serivce providers I have tried everything. First just stay away from all pre-paid phones I do not recomend them to anyone unless you like paying a fortune for bad serivce. I find verizon service to pricy, at&t I hate and dispise because they are just so damn sneaky and I find t-mobile and sprint to be the best however I have had some issues with t-mobiles customer serivce and some double charges on my bill however t-mobile customer care took care of the issue however t-mobile does have cheap looking phones the only phone they have that is an affordable smartphone is the nokia nuron which my husband has I have sprint and have the incognito I am however considering sending it back and swicting to t-mobile myself please let me know if you have any suggestions. thank you.

    I have had At&T for the past year and it’s horrible. The plans are all over priced and everytime I cross a bridge I drop a call. I just switched to Sprint for a great price of $69.99 for unlimited everything and got the awesome HTC Evo which is better that my iphone was. I am a fan of the android system and sprint and would recommend for the best value and product SPRINT WINS!

    Ill say go for t-mobile i have had t-mobile for over 6 yrs and its always had the best customer service and really good affordable plans also really good service cant even rmember if i have ever dropped a call or anything, sprint is good had it a long time ago but they charge for the 4g come on thats lame, at&t sux straight up little greedy bastards if it wasnt for the iphone they would be lost.

    ive had tmobile for a long time now and i love them! great customer service and excellent service and connections! however, we all know tmobile doesnt have the best phones. so im looking into sprint and getting the evo. (because i refuse to go to att for lousy service and expensive plans!) but all ive read online are horrible reviews regarding sprints poor customer service and bad reception. not to mention massive hidden charges! so whats a girl to do?

    Monthly bill is usually around $60. This month it came out to be $200! Customer service is BAD! GREEDY PPL!!!!! They dont want to help you AT ALL! Saying “There’s so many ways to check your minutes and bills and its your responsibility,” I know how to check my bill and minutes but there is nowhere on their website that states “If you talk at 8:59 pm till 9:59 pm that will be charged onto your plan!” [vice versa]…the “maximum amount” they could credit into my account was $30! This is BULL!!!!!!! DEFINITELY DO NOT HAVE A PLAN WITH TMOBILE THEY ARE CHEAP AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR AND THEY MAKE YOU SEEM LIKE YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have been using T-Mobile for 1 year and I must say that their customer service is great. I have a Black Berry and haven’t had any problems at all. So as long as your using a good phone, then the service should be very good. The plan I have is inexpensive (Unlimited Talk and Text for $59.99+tax and fees). I’ve heard allot about the other companies, but let’s be realistic. Sometime you may drop a call no matter which provider you use. I buy based on price, customer service and quality. That’s why I’ve chosen T-Mobile. Good customer service, good price and good service. I hope this helps.

    RUN from AT & T. They promised me the world and delivered NOTHING! They will tell you anything to get you into a contrsact. I had to spend hours and hours on the phone to try to get out of the contract just days after getting into it. their plan is to keep you in a circular pattern long enough that you get tired of holding and just remain with them.
    I have had SPRINT for over ten years now on a different account and will stay with them!

    It seems as though there are generic complaints with every carrier. I keep hearing about “hidden charges” throughout most of these posts. I have to say, people really need to read the terms and conditions (contract) and ensure they are on a plan that works for them. I like TMobile enough. I am a bit miffed that they have focused so heavily on the improvement and expansion of their data services but have done little to nothing in regards to their voice services and coverage. I do not have issues with dropped calls. The issues I do run into is that there is no service in many areas. I do not live out in the boonies. I believe Sprint has the most versatile plans that are extremely well priced, but I also heard about their occasional shotty service. I have heard positive and negative reviews for every service provider. We are paying for something that will never be 100% reliable, I think the best thing is to aim for the company that provides the best customer service and the best prices/plans. In that case, I have a hard time leaving TMobile.

    I have T-Mobile and have so for over 8 yrs. I am currently searching for another wireless provider. Sprint is top on my list and I will be switching at the end of this month. T-Mobile does not have any hidden charges that appeared on my bill and they have a pretty good coverage area, but I am having internet connection problems. With NO DROPPED CALLS…. I paid 49.99 for unlimited loyalty minutes and 24.99 for unlimited internet and 400 text, which is perfect for me. T-Mobile have been great to work with, but they are getting outdated… Please don’t fall for that 4g network, it is wack. YES, I stay in a 4g are fort worth, tx. I really wish T-Mobile could fix their internet issue but with an open problem ticket for 2months leads me to believe that they are not going to be able to correct this problem. The question???? which provider is better is going to be personal preference and coverage area. However I will post once I switch and let y’all know….

    Its hilarious how everyone thinks its only “sprint” or its only “t-mobile” that will screw you over… ladies and gents I want to let you know that i have worked for sprint and t-mobile and with both companies people get screwed over. First tip: If you have bad credit your going to be speaking to people in another country because the real customer care doesn’t want to talk to you! Why? because they cant up-sell you on anything! Second it all depends on where you live, if you live in a place where there’s hardly any t-mobile or spring coverage than don’t set up service with them in the first place, just pay the additional 20-30 bucks a month and go with Verizon they got the best coverage! Last thing i wanted to mention, it really depends on the representative that picks up the phone if he wants to help you or not… just remember one person will go the extra mile to help you with your problem… and yet another person will just tell you they cant help you or just refer you to store! So keep Calling in, and i guarantee that some angel will pick up for you. And you will have the best customer experience ever!

    Sprint are the kings!!! I have never in my 7 years of having sprint as my service provider, ran into a single problem they couldn’t promptly fix! While driving across the country my phone didn’t roam once. I have never experienced a dropped call, My bill has always been the $99.99 everything plan with not one single hidden charge, roaming fees or call interference! I even get credits when my bill is late because Ive been a customer for so long. Sprint flat out takes care of their customers, offering the best damn network support my money pays for! BTW I just got the EVO 4G and its sick! I love this phone soooooo much, while searching through the thousands of apps I cant even tell I’m surfing the net because its running as fast as a pre-installed app, their network rules. Go with sprint!

    T-Mobile is awful. I switched to Verizon from a third carrier but returned everything because their salespeople lied about what services I got a what my bills would cost. I then went to T-Mobile, told them how Verizon lied to me, then THEY lied to me in order to get a sale. I was told I was getting a 3G capable phone (but I would have to wait for 3G to be available in my market), and would get a 14% discount on my monthly bill, but none of that is true. Despite my bill stating “AAA MEMBER DISCOUNT” in bold letters at the top they have not applied the discount, and when I discovered the error they refused to reimburse me or acknowledge that I was lied to. I have had to replace my Backberry 8520 five times due to being sent defective warranty replacements, in attempting to get a different model phone they offered me a downgraded phone for free staying with the same plan, and if I wanted a phone other than that I would have to sign a contract. Verizon and T-Mobile have been the worst customer service experiences of my life, and I have heard little good about AT&T, pending the outcome of my complaint with the BBB and trying to call their corporate offices tomorrow (a weekday) I intend to switch to Sprint for lack of any other option (aside from pre-paid).

    I was a customer for Spring for 7 years. The service was always decent but the bills always have hidden charges. For example, the $69.99 (unlimited data, 450 mins, and texting) plan always means a $85 bill/ month at least with taxes and surcharges. However, after I switched to T-mobile, the bill of $79.99 for the comparable plan shows on my bill as $79.99 without any additional charges. Also, the customer service has been consistently great. The smart phones are much better than sprint’s, plus t-mobile and AT&T are GSM carriers which means most of their phones are international phones. Contrarily, Sprint and Verizon are CDMA carriers and only 2-3 smart phones for sprint roam internationally. So, if you are going to Europe, you would have to get an expensive new phone or a loaner’s phone.

    okay im 19 yrs old and we have been with Sprint since december 2009. My dad lost his job a year ago and our bill went up too $600 but Sprint kept em on for us because of our problems. I live in Jasper, Alabama and have PERFECT SERVICE WITH SPRINT!!!!! I have the HTC HERO with Google. it was $50 at the time it runs on Android OS 2.2 and ITS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Im really thinkin bout switchin to the HTC EVO 4G Shift which is the only phone that can top that piece of crap iPhone AT&T tried to sell me for over 1000 dollars…wtf AT&T?!!!! Just trust a 19 yr old kid and go with Sprint my plan is 69.99 a month for unlimited texts, 450 mins, mobile to mobile, free nights and weekends, free callin after 7pm, and all the thousands of apps from the FREE Android Market!!! Trust me guys stay with Sprint or switch over or go to their website to see if they cover your area. Ohh by the way i have had no dropped calls, hidden fees, or dropped signal. They are Truely the next gen cell phone provider. Just try them out or see what they are doin for cell phones. i highly recommend Sprint for anyone who is tired of dealin with lying cell phone customers REPRESENTIVES who really dont wanna help you and just wanna take your money like AT&T. So seriously guys SPRINT IS THE NUMBER ONE CARRIER AND CHOICE FOR NEW OR SWAPPIN OVER CONTRACTS!!!!!! :D

    I had T-mobile a few years ago and I had dropped calls everywhere I went. I live in the boonies, but T-mobile guaranteed they had coverage in my area. I went with sprint about 4 months ago on a family plan with my mother. For two lines we were on a $129 plan for 1500 anytime minutes (landlines only), unlimited night and weekends, unlimited data and unlimited text. I had the evo 4g so don’t forget to add the $10 per month just for it being the EVO. I loved the phone but not the fact that over a four month period we were charged over 1200. We left them needless to say. We are now actually with Cricket, who now offers Android phones and plans. by the way our plans are $110 combined and the only thing extra we pay is strictly taxes.

    Stay away from T mobile Customer service is bad, beware of C/S agreements made with these reps if they dont document on the computer there agreement with you your screwed. I have to pay 676.00 plus my svc bill because of bad phones that were’nt adjusted as promised. I was sent to another country for bill payments, they couldnt help me. Changing over to Sprint. Oh! I had the Garmone Phones.

    Excuse me sprint is a joke. When I had them they kept turning off my phone because my cuz did not pay his bill! Which were to separate accounts and they said we will turn your phone back on when you pay this other bill. No sprint. I went to t mobile after n have been happy with them for 8 years! Maybe they don’t have the best network. But I’m treated great by customer care. And they don’t turn my phones off because someone else don’t pay there bill.

    I work for tmobile and honestly never seen so many happy ex sprint customers in my life. We offer the same bill every month. Most sprint customers pay a diffrent amount every month. We are an actual 4g network not a 3.8 claiming 4g and the mytouch side by side with evo just kicks the evos butt!! Honestly since we starting offering flipswap a phone trade in program all 1000 sprint customers I see in the mall thank me constently for selling them a mytouch and getting them away from sprint. For the 4g service and 1500 min on 2 phones is 149.99 on sprint weaker 4g network compared to 3000 min and 2 4g data phones with tmobile. Anyway the truth is the mytouch on tmobile is better and instead of a$240 bill after insurance and taxes plus hidden charges my customers bills with 2 data phones and a third non data line with insurance and better phones dont exceed $180 after tax. Choice is totally yours but understand that tmobile has 86% of the country coverd on phone service compared to verizons 87% at half the price and a way more stable 4g service with much better divices than sprint. Samsung vibrant 4g, the g2, and mytouch blow away any sprint phone. Just the facts

    Going w sprint as soon as my contract expires. Been with tmobile since the mid ’90s and have had one issue after the next; in probably every possible way. Customer service has been inconsistant. Seems like every time an issue arrises, it’s been within the first year of the two year contract. Anyway, 7 months left on this one. I have a BB w the unlimited loyalty plan, that includes unlimited calls, text, and data at just under $100. Seems like a ripoff considering it takes less time to start up my desktop and search online than it takes my BB to load google. Dropped calls haven’t been an issue. Though, at least twice a day, I make calls that are connected w no sound. It’s weird. As a long-time customer, I get no sense of appreciation from tmobile. Their “Loyalty” plan costs more than a comparable new customer plan at sprint. Also, tmobile has a very limited selection of decent phones, unless you prefer a non-smart phone (which they have plenty of). After so many chances to indulge my hopes that I have been w the best possible carrier, I’m through. W sprint I’ll pay at least 20% less for better service. Seems like a win win for me. Also, just a side note, everyone I know who works in a multi-carrier sales environment has sprint. All except the ones that have the iphone (that they love, but dispise att).

    I have had nextel also named sprint. they overcharges have driven me crazy. I remember working from 7am-5pm, the whole tiome my cell phone was off, yet my phone bill was up to 300 dlls a month. I am just tired of it. They are known for overcharging customers. Also, all the people i know are switching to t-moble & leaving sprint..They are WAY To expensive for the service & the usage…I WOULD RECOMMAND NO ONE GET SPRINT

    I have t-moblie.i got an expensive phone and my service sucks. it did not work in Princeton, nj. Its a university town! then i went to baltimore, nope no service. i took it to orlando, 1 bar. pensyilvania was horror. i am trying to convince my wife to sprint. my son has it, its great. just look at the coverage maps to see the difference. the sprint fones are great

    I’m currently with Tmobile & I’m very unhappy!!! I’ve been with Tmobile for 6 years going on 7 & I’ve been trying to upgrade & to no avail they come out with excuses everytime.
    To make matters worst. I keep getting drop calls, & no service at all when home!! T mobile is horrible. Their customer service sucks!! Half of the time the representative don’t know good english!!! I’m thinking of switching to Sprint. Let’s see how it goes!

    I’d been a tmobile customer for 9 yrs, and had never had a problem. Then, I get my bill, and I’ve got some outrageous charges on it for restocking fee.. for a phone that I got that did not work, that was returned to the store. Apparantly the store didn’t return the phone so my battle with CS started. I switched carriers yesterday. I figure with being a loyal customer with 4 lines on my account I should have been listened to which I wasn’t after many calls and visits to the store. Felt a slap in the face when they said they’d take 10 percent off the restocking fee if I extended my contract another 2 years. wha??? So heres to hoping sprint will do better.

    I have been with tmobile for 6 years and lately I have had nothing but problems with them. My biggest issue is how the cap my data once I hit 5 gb 7 days into my billing cycle (tethering!). Unlimited means unlimited! So now my data is 2g slow on the mytouch slide 3g….I call customer care to explain this they say they’ll open a case and have a manager call me back (still waiting on that callback) I’ve had a misc $30 charge cust care can’t explain….tried to change my number and they say there r no numbers available in my city took 6 ppl to get it change and now that I want to cancel and port out to sprint they say I can’t get a refund since I pay a month in advance and to stay til my billing cycle ends…….stay away from tmobile they are nothing but cheap bastards and they have the WORST customer service ever!     switched to sprint because their data plans are cheaper. I text, and email faithfully so I had to what worked out for me.
